What a fantastic Christmas this year turned out to be for our family! For starters, Ray came home on Christmas Eve for 4 whole days!! That was the best gift! Nobody got up in a hurry. Just kind of staggered out of bed here and there. How unusual! The kids buried their heads while the pickle was hidden on the tree. Tommy found it in 07' so he couldn't look in 08'. So in 08' Dustin found it and won't get to look in 09'. He got to open his Santa gift first. He got 2 matted Dallas Cowboys prints of some of the players.
Tommy's was a record player with a cd player, cassette deck, mp3 hook up and am/fm stereo. All the boys love vinyl records! David got a digital camera. He's been wanting one to take pictures everywhere he goes! Jerrud got a nifty microscope. He spent time looking at boogers, toe jam and toilet water. Such a boy!! Corbin got a variety pack of transformers. He loves the complexity of them transforming.
Grandma Exckert got them the game "Baggo". You might have read it in a post we did right after Thanksgiving. We had a blast playing at their Uncle Dave's home with her! Their Grandpa Buster and Grandma Norma got them a 16-in-1 game table. Lot's of options to play for all ages! They also got them a snowboarding game that hooks to the t.v. They control it by standing on a board. Grandma & Grandpa Brown go them toys and clothes and cars and puzzles. They loved going through everything and seeing what they were going to open next! Grandma Forbes sent money for each of them. It's burning holes in their pockets!
I got my baby sugargliders a couple of days earlier. David got me a Willow Tree firgure to add to my collection. He got Ray and Marine Semi-truck. Precious tried joining in on the fun by chasing Jerrud's flying toy! She caught it a couple of times too!
When everyone was done it was time to clean up so they could find their gifts! Ray and I spent a large part of the next 2 days putting together the game table! Also he was home to help with the technical stuff with their things as well. We all had a wonderful day. It was nice with all 7 of us home togther for a few days!
